About

Escaping from the corporate IT world to the National Trust over 20 years ago launched me on my horticultural journey. Working in beautiful gardens under inspiring Head Gardeners fostered my love of beautiful planting and an appreciation of right plant, right place. After studying garden design at the University of Bristol Botanic garden I was able to take this knowledge further to make gardens that are beautiful, enjoyable, and practical for busy lives. From heritage listed sites to suburban family plots and city courtyards I have had the privilege to design and work in some beautiful gardens in the North Bristol area. I have worked with families, couples and individuals to create spaces you want to be outside in.

As a Friend member of the Society of Garden Designers, I follow industry standards and stay updated on the latest trends in this changing field.

In my spare time, you will often find me walking my spaniel and getting inspiration in some of the lovely parks and estates in North Bristol. Occasionally she accompanies me to gardens but likes to disrupt my work by stealing my hand tools! Sports have always been my other favourite thing and I play and coach squash at the Redland Green Club.
