A Cottage Garden for Garden Cottage
Set in the heart of Almondsbury village, the garden of this cottage was not living up to its name. Persuading the owners to widen the borders and prune back the overgrown shrubs allowed for a real cottage garden planting design to be implemented. The collaborative approach taken enabled the owner to include her favourite perennials and carry out all the planting including around 1000 bulbs!
“Working with Daryl was fantastic from start to finish. She has so much knowledge about plants and planting schemes and really knows how to listen to exactly want you want. However, she's also not afraid to give you her own ideas on things and with that in mind we now have a beautiful garden that we love spending time in. She's also been back to offer further advice and even a tidy up when we've needed it.“
