Cherry Trees and Cheerfulness in Cheswick
Having successfully planted their front garden, this family asked me back to update their rear garden. Initially landscaped and mostly filled with shrubs, the plants were now too big for the narrow borders. Apart from a pergola, the garden lacked height which exposed the houses behind it. Flowering cherry trees and climbing plants were proposed to hide the fences. Grasses, herbs, and long-blooming perennials will keep the borders interesting all year-round.
“Having moved into our new build we’d had our back garden landscaped but were struggling with the planting. We’d tried a range of different planting ideas but nothing quite worked. Daryl listened to all of our needs and took into account the existing plants we had, some of which we were keen to keep, and incorporated them into her design. Our back garden now has interest in all seasons!”
